Goodbye and Rest In Peace to the Greatest Entertainers In the World!

I think it's high time I say Rest in Peace to Michael Jackson! I am not his fan as I am not anybody's fan, but I like very much good music of different genres. I do appreciate his legacy - his music, shows in concert or videoclips that made him practically the world greatest entertainer as Oprah called him because indeed only the King of Pop - as Elizabeth Taylor first called him- was a limitative phrase for what he did- his shows.

Taking things step by step:

- Regarding the accusations that were brought to him

It is absolutely incredible that an inocent person has to go through such an ordel of accusations.

I think we all want to keep the child in us for as long as we can, for life would be best. After seen some of his interviews where he talked about the fact that he had no happy childhood with a father that frightened him and always kept telling him what an awful nose and face he has, I think I do understand why he wanted to try and relive the childhood time in a serene, happy way. Trying to help kids enjoy their childhood i think it's a wonderful humanly gesture and getting charged with outrageous accusations for bringing them into your home and surroundings to put at their disposal the playgrounds. He said he loved children and animals because they are innocent and they are your friends not asking nothing in return. I think we can all understand that everybody surrounding him was asking him something in return, including or perhaps even more than others, his family, esspecially his unbelivable father which at the press conference he held after MJ's death i've seen smiling- probably thinking at the money he's going to get now, after Michael is dead.

As for the aesthetic operations, i don't understand why people have always been and still are so interested about those. People who gain their money as public figures, either they are music stars, movie stars, TV showmen or women need to always be fit and attentive with their looks. So if they do aesthetic operations that's because actually we, the public, impose that pressure on them. And more to the point, even normal, ordinary people nowadays are having aesthetic operations of nose, face, breasts etc even if they don't have a medical disorder, but just to feel better in their skin. So, why all tabloids and so many press people kept asking Michael about his operations? I don't know what they wanted to prove... Their constant inquiries on that subject made him tell the world that he had a medical issue with the skin and this can be seen in his photos as a boy and young man. So what good did this bring to all people inquiring? Only the sadness of this person who had to share with the whole world his medical problems.

- My belief

I truely hope that the terrifying hunting of stars / megastars or just public figures will turn to a somehow normality where press will show the respective persons public appearances either they are movies, concerts etc and the interviews the stars agree to do and that's it. Paparazzi and tabloid press is as noxious as cancer to these people and all people buying this kind of press - if it can be called press - can easily be considered killers as they keep alive and give huge profits to the people that denigrate public figures, show them in their private lives without the public figures' approvals, they stress and put so much pressure on public figures that they kill them bit by bit, or as in Ladi Di's case, they actually go further and take the ultimate step in killing them.

- Conclusion

So, let's try to live in a better world and let's first start by focusing on our lives with our families and friends, our work and enjoy the shows public figures are delivering to us and don't look for the sensational in their personal lives. Let's try not to judge people because we'll never know what circumstances led to certain actions they did or if they actually did what the tabloids are saying, most probably not.

I think we should remember Michael Jackson for what he rocked our world, namely for his incredible shows, for his beautiful music and for the true humaritarian that he was helping children all over the world through donations of million of dollars for which in 2000 he was listed in Guiness Book of World Records for supporting more charities than any other celebrity. During his 1984 Victory Tour with the Jacksons he donated his 5 million dolar share to 3 different charities and he was honored by President Regan for his charity work. We are the world - was another way Michael Jackson along with Lionel Riche cowrote the song to aid the poor in Africa and US and it became one of the best selling singles of all time. In 1992 he founded the Heal the World Foundation which sent million of dollars around the world to help sick children, and organized many benefit concerts to help 9/11 victims and many other people who needed help.

And last but not least, let us remember the messages in his music:

La costa del silencio - Mägo de Oz

Pentru ca este dinamic si suna bine, chiar daca nu inteleg toate cuvintele ;-)
